A collaborative effort between the RRP and the CTSI, the new Cores Search has been created to meet an identified need for researchers at UCSF – to be able to easily connect to available services and resources, and to the facilities that provide them.

The UCSF Research Resource Program (RRP) is proud to announce that for the Spring 2012 cycle of the new Core Exploratory Award program, twenty projects have been awarded funding for a total of $81,507. Details on the projects that will receive funding can be found below.

Created by the RRP in collaboration with CTSI-SOS, these awards enable researchers to explore the use of new technologies or services available in existing core facilities at UCSF.

Core Exploratory Awards will be offered again during the upcoming Fall 2012 RAP cycle. The application deadline is September 24, 2012, and the request for applications will go out on August 13th. Please check the RAP website (rap.ucsf.edu) for more information.

We received many excellent proposals this cycle, and we look forward to the continued success of this new award program.
