Institutional Matching Instrumentation Awards - Fall 2017

Funding is available for instrumentation that will be managed in a UCSF Campus Core. Up to three Institutional Matching Instrumentation Awards are now available, through the RAP Fall Cycle. View the official RAP announcement at the UCSF News Center.

The goal of this award is to promote the availability of instrumentation at UCSF, improve cost effectiveness, encourage sharing among individual investigators, research groups and departments, and to foster a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. Funds can be used towards the cost of instruments, to fund essential personnel or maintenance costs during instrument validation. Funds should be used to match funding from extramural grants or from other UCSF funding sources.

RAP will offer drop-in Q&A sessions at the Mission Bay and Parnassus Campuses.

  • Parnassus - Wed., Aug. 30, Noon – 2 p.m. 513 (Medical Sciences Building Entrance)
  • Mission Bay - Thur., Sept. 7, Noon – 2 p.m. (Genentech Hall, Suite 116)
  • Mission Bay - Thur., Sept. 14, Noon – 2 p.m. (Genentech Hall, Suite 116)
